THIS WEEK
The Washington State University women's soccer team (7-9-2, 2-7-1) concludes its 2016 season at Lower Soccer Field by hosting Washington (7-11-1, 2-8-0), Thursday, Nov. 3...the Cougars and Huskies will kick off at 7 p.m. in a match televised on the Pac-12 Network…Ann Schatz and Krista Blunk will be on the call…live stats will be available for the match at www.wsucougars.com.

COUGAR TAILGATE PRIOR TO WASHINGTON MATCH
Prior to Thursday's match against Washington, Cougar soccer fans can gear up by taking part in the Cougar Tailgate, across the street from the Lower Soccer Field in the PEB overhang... the event takes place from 5 - 6:45 p.m., with food and drinks provided by Fork in the Road catering. There will be a beer garden area for 21+ and a food area for all fans.

WASHINGTON STATE: LAST TIME OUT
Washington State scored a goal in the 73rd minute to draw equal against Oregon...despite outshooting the Ducks 6-2 in the two overtime periods, the game ended in the 1-1 draw...senior Amy Neal put back a rebound off Kaitlyn Johnson's shot to score her first goal of the season. ..for the game the Cougars held a commanding 2-57 advantage in shots, including eight on goal.

COUGARS PLAYING TEAMS CLOSE
One goal matches seem to be the norm for Washington State this season...eight of WSU's last 11 matches have been decided by one goal, and 12 of 18 contests this year...the Cougars are 5-7 in one-goal matches, including losses against No. 16 BYU, No. 1 Stanford, No. 17 California and No. 12 UCLA, and wins against No. 13 Santa Clara, Arizona State and Oregon State.

\WSU RECOGNIZED SENIORS PRIOR TO OREGON MATCH:
Prior to last Sunday's match against Oregon, Washington State soccer recognized eight seniors who are in their final season in Pullman...Kailiana Johnson, Kaitlyn Johnson, Jazmin Jones, Nicolle Marlow, Amy Neal, Lianna Simms, Alexis Thode and Susie White were featured in a brief pre-match ceremony highlighting their accomplishments in a Cougar uniform.

WASHINGTON STATE-WASHINGTON: THE SERIES
Washington State is 12-7-6 all-time against Washington, including a 7-2-4 record when playing in Pullman...WSU enters this match riding a 12-match unbeaten streak against the Huskies dating back to the 2004 season, when a 3-2 victory started the streak...in the last meeting in Pullman (2014), the teams played to a 1-1 draw.

SENIORS FIND THE NET AGAINST OREGON SCHOOLS
While much of the scoring load this season has been by the Cougar underclassmen, last weekend the seniors took the lead...against Oregon State, Kaitlyn Johnson and Kailiana Johnson each had goals, with Kailiana's 77th minute goal being the game-winner in a 2-1 victory...Sunday, senior Amy Neal scored in the 73rd minute to tie the game at 1-1, the eventual final score.

COUGAR UNDERCLASSMEN CARRYING SCORING LOAD
Cougar freshman Morgan Weaver and first-year sophomore Alysha Overland, comprise one of the top underclassmen scoring duos in the Pac-12 this season...the duo has combined for 13 goals (Weaver 8 and Overland 5)...add in WSU freshman Katie Jones and her two goals, underclassmen account for 15 of WSU's 21 goals this season (71.4 percent).

WSU BREAKS SEASON ATTENDANCE RECORD
Washington State soccer broke its season attendance record last weekend when it hosted Oregon...in 2015 WSU soccer drew 11,177 fans for its 10 home games...this season the Cougars are averaging 1,031 fans through its 11 home matches for a total of 11,343 fans, breaking the total attendance record.
