The Washington State University women's soccer team (6-9-1, 1-7-0) returns to Lower Soccer Field to host Oregon State (6-9-2, 1-7-0), Thursday, Oct. 27, and Oregon (8-8-1, 2-6-0), Sunday, Oct. 30...the Cougars and Beavers will kick off at 7 p.m. in match televised on the Pac-12 Network…Troy Clardy and Aly Wagner will be on the call…WSU faces Oregon at 1 p.m. Sunday, which will be live streamed on wsucougars.com...live stats will be available for both matches at www.wsucougars.com.
WSU TO RECOGNIZE SENIORS PRIOR TO OREGON MATCH:
Prior to Sunday's match against Oregon, Washington State soccer will recognize eight seniors who are in their final season in Pullman...

WASHINGTON STATE: LAST TIME OUT
Washington State, after drawing even in the 77th minute at No. 12 UCLA, could not hold on for the result, surrendering a goal 41 seconds later to fall to the Bruins, 2-1, in Los Angeles...UCLA scored in the 18th minute but the two teams played even over the next 60 minutes before
Alysha Overland converted a cross from
Kelsee Crenshaw in a crowded box for the equalizer, her fifth goal of the season.
COUGARS PLAYING TEAMS CLOSE
One goal matches seem to be the norm for Washington State this season...seven of WSU's last nine matches have been decided by one goal, and 11 of 16 contests this year...the Cougars are 4-7 in one-goal matches this year, including losses against No. 16 BYU, No. 1 Stanford, No. 17 California and No. 12 UCLA, and wins against No. 13 Santa Clara and Arizona State.
WASHINGTON STATE-OREGON STATE: THE SERIES
Washington State is 13-9-3 all-time against Oregon State, including a 5-5-2 record when playing at home...WSU has won each of the last two matches both on Corvallis, 2-1 in 2015 and 1-0 in 2014...in the last meeting in Pullman, the Beavers escaped with a 1-0 victory...each of the last 12 meetings between the two teams have been decided by one goal.
WASHINGTON STATE-OREGON: THE SERIES
Washington State is 11-4-5 all-time against Oregon, including a 6-3-1 record when playing at Lower Soccer Field...last season WSU came away with a 2-1 victory in Eugene, stretching WSU's unbeaten streak against the ducks to four games...the last meeting in Pullman resulted in a 1-0, double-overtime win by the Cougars...Oregon's last victory in Pullman was a 3-1 decision in 2010.

WSU LOOKING TO BREAK SEASON ATTENDANCE RECORD
Washington State soccer will look to break its season attendance record this weekend when it hosts Oregon State and Oregon...in 2015 WSU soccer drew 11,177 fans for its 10 home games...this season the Cougars are averaging 1,170 fans through its nine home matches for a total of 10,532 fans...WSU needs a total of 645 fans over its next three games to break last year's total attendance record.

Todd Shulenberger is in his second year at Washington State…in 2015 Shulenberger became the seventh head coach in program history after spending the previous two seasons as the associate head coach at Texas Tech…last season the Cougars reached the NCAA Championship for the fifth-straight season and finished with a 14-6 record.
WSU SETS ATTENDANCE RECORD AGAINST BYU
During the Cougars' season-opener against No. 16 BYU, WSU drew a Lower Soccer Field record 2,623 fans for the match, eclipsing the previous mark of 2,251 set last season against Arizona (which was already nearly 600 fans more than 3rd on the all-time list).
OVERLAND ENJOYING BREAKOUT SEASON:

Alysha Overland is enjoying her first season in a Cougar uniform and is currently second on the team with five goals, including three game-winners...Overland has scored on five of her 23 shots, 10 of which were on frame...along with freshman
Morgan Weaver the two comprise one of the top young scoring duos in the conference.

Ella Dederick continues to make her way up the Cougar career goalkeeping charts...the sophomore from Camarillo, Calif. ranks fifth in wins with 20, tied for 10th in shutouts (6) and sixth in saves (152)...this season she is 6-9-1 with a 1.00 goals against average while making 53 saves in 16 matches.
