Washington State soccer (6-6-1, 1-4-0 Pac-12) travels east to face No. 22 Utah (9-2-2, 4-0-1 Pac-12) Friday night at Ute Field at 6 p.m. PT. The match marks the first of three-straight away from Pullman for the Cougars.

WASHINGTON STATE: LAST TIME OUT
Washington State rallied late for a 2-1, double-overtime victory at home over Arizona State...trailing 1-0 into the 83rd minute, freshman Katie Jones put back a rebound to tie the game before freshman Morgan Weaver sealed the victory with a long blast from outside the box in the 106th minute...WSU dominated much of the game, outshooting ASU 30-6, including a 23-1 margin after halftime, while also producing 14 corner kicks.

COUGAR UNDERCLASSMEN CARRYING SCORING LOAD
Cougar freshman Morgan Weaver and first-year sophomore Alysha Overland, comprise one of the top underclassmen scoring duos in the Pac-12 this season...with a combined 12 goals (Weaver 8 and Overland 4), they are the second-highest scoring duo among Pac-12 underclassmen, training only Colorado's 14 goals by freshman Taylor Kornieck and sophomore Sarah Kinzner...add in WSU freshman Katie Jones and her two goals, underclassmen account for 14 of WSU's 17 goals this season (82.4 percent).

COUGARS PLAYING TEAMS CLOSE
One goal matches seem to be the norm for Washington State this season...five of WSU's last six matches have been decided by one goal, and nine of 13 contests this year...the Cougars are 4-5 in one-goal matches this year, including losses against No. 16 BYU, No. 1 Stanford and No. 17 California, and wins against No. 13 Santa Clara and Arizona State.

WASHINGTON STATE-UTAH: THE SERIES
Washington State is 5-6-1 all-time against Utah3-3-0 record when playing in Salt Lake City...WSU has captured the last two matches, both in Utah, winning 1-0 last season and 4-2 in 2014...the Cougars hold a 3-2 advantage since Utah joined the conference in time for the 2011 season.

NEXT UP
After this weekend's contests, the Cougars continue on the road as they travel to No. 5 USC, Oct. 20, and No. 9 UCLA, Oct. 23...the USC match will be televised on the Pac-12 Network...WSU is 7-11-3 all-time against USC while the Cougars are 3-16-4 against UCLA. 

WASHINGTON STATE HEAD COACH TODD SHULENBERGER
Cougar Head Coach Todd Shulenberger is in his second year at Washington State…in 2015 Shulenberger became the seventh head coach in program history after spending the previous two seasons as the associate head coach at Texas Tech…last season the Cougars reached the NCAA Championship for the fifth-straight season and finished with a 14-6 record.

WSU SETS ATTENDANCE RECORD AGAINST BYU
During the Cougars' season-opener against No. 16 BYU, WSU drew a Lower Soccer Field record 2,623 fans for the match, eclipsing the previous mark of 2,251 set last season against Arizona (which was already nearly 600 fans more than 3rd on the all-time list)...in nine home matches this season, WSU is averaging 1,170 fans per contest.

DEDERICK MOVING UP CAREER CHARTS
Sophomore goalkeeper Ella Dederick continues to make her way up the Cougar career goalkeeping charts...the sophomore from Camarillo, Calif. ranks fifth in wins with 20, tied for 10th in shutouts (6) and seventh in saves (135)...this season she is 6-6-1 with a 1.00 goals against average while making 36 saves in 13 matches.
