WSU CAREER
Freshman (1999-00)...marked a time of 5:00.30 in the 500 freestyle which ranks second on the WSU's all-time list...clocked a 1:53.62 in the 200 freestyle to move into third place in school history for that event...also grabbed third place on WSU's all-time list for the 1,650 freestyle and fourth for the 1,000 freestyle...Sophomore (2000-01)...secured second place on WSU's all-time list for the 200 freestyle by clocking a time of 1:52.76, while placing 23rd at the Pac-10 Championships...grabbed second place on the school's list for the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:59.78 at Pac-10's where she finished 23rd...currently holds positions on three other school top-10 lists as well: 1,650 freestyle (third), 1,000 freestyle (fourth), and 100 freestyle (sixth)...named Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention...Junior (2001-02)...shattered oldest mark in the WSU record book by over four seconds, clocking a 4:53.53 in the 500 freestyle en route to placing 16th at the Pac-10 Championships (record had been held by Beth Platte since 1986)...set another school record in the 1,650 freestyle with a time of 16:55.99, placing her 13th at Pac-10's...also grabbed second place on school all-time lists for the 200 freestyle (1:50.60) and the 1,000 freestyle (10:13.76) at Pac-10's...finished the season also holding eighth place in WSU history for the 100 freestyle...again garnered Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Earned four varsity letters in swimming and one in water polo at Sunset High School...Metro Conference champion in the 200 freestyle and second in the 100 freestyle as a freshman...finished second in the 200 freestyle at state...as a sophomore Metro Conference champion in the 100 and 200 freestyle events...State finalist...MVP...State champion in the 500 freestyle junior year...Metro champion in the 200 and 500 freestyle...MVP and team captain...as a senior repeated MVP and team captain honors...placed third in the 500 freestyle and fifth in the 200 freestyle at State...competed for the Tualatin Hills Swim Club under coach Paul Bergen...junior national qualifier in the 100, 200 and 500 freestyle events...named one of Oregon's Top 5 swimmers from 1995-98.

Born September 10, 1980 in Vancouver, Wash., to parents Steve and Peggy Cohen...sisters Rachel and Sarah...father played football at Northern Illinois...grandfather played basketball for Toledo...sister Rachel swam for Willamette and sister Sarah swims for Pac-10 rival Oregon State...National Honor Society member as a prep...pursuing a degree in pre-med zoology.
