WSU CAREER
Freshman (2000-01)... Swam the lead leg on the school record-breaking 200 medley relay team which placed seventh at the Pac-10 Championships...secured fourth position on WSU's top-10 list for the 100 backstroke with a time of 57.53 seconds at the Federal Way Invitational and placed 20th in the Pac-10 in the same event...grabbed ninth place on the school's all-time list for the 200 individual medley by clocking a 2:09.45 at the Patriot Invitational in Fairfax, Va...also holds 10th position on the school's list for the 400 individual medley...sophomore (2001-02)...placed 15th in the 100 backstroke at the Pac-10 Championships with a time of 57.01, moving into third place on WSU's all-time list for the event...also grabbed sixth place on the school's all-time list for the 100 butterfly (56.92) at Pac-10's...at the Arkansas Invitational, moved into fifth place in school history for the 200 individual medley (2:07.01) and eighth place for the 200 backstroke (2:05.49)... holds 10th on WSU's all-time list for the 400 individual medley (4:36.18)...broke the school record as a member of the 200 medley relay team...earned Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention...junior (2002-03)...established a personal best in the 100 breaststroke at Central Washington...set another personal best in the 200 breaststroke at the Cougar Invitational...earned Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention for the second consecutive season.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB CAREER
Competed for Salmon Bay Aquatics, coached by Doug Rusk...as a freshman won the Metro Conference championship in the 100 butterfly...placed tenth in the 200 IM at State...as a sophomore won the 1998 Metro Champion Award...qualified for the Junior Nationals in the 100 butterfly.

Born April 9, 1982 in Seattle, Wash., to parents Halbert and Nancy Chinn...brother Christopher, who also attends WSU...majoring in criminal justice.
