Jill Olson graduated from WSU in the spring of 2003 as the school record holder in the 1000 Free (10:12.96), the second fastest all-time in the 1650 Free (16:56.31), and the sixth fastest in the 500 Free (5:01.09). She was a four-year Pacific-10 Conference Championship scorer and achieved a NCAA Championship consideration time in the 1650 Free in 2002.

Academically, Olson was honored three years in a row with Pacific-10 Conference First Team All-Academic Honors and was also awarded the team's scholastic award in 2001. Olson finished her accounting information systems major in the spring and completed a summer internship with Deloitte and Touche. She returns to WSU for the fall semester to take additional classes to prepare her for the CPA exam. She will begin full-time employment as an auditor at Deloitte and Touche in January. Olson's swimming knowledge, her attention to detail, and her strong reputation in academics will be a great asset to a young Cougar team.
