WSU CAREER. SOPHOMORE (2011-12): Indoor - Best jumps of season came at Cherry and Silver Invite (1/21/12, Albuquerque)...long jump was 6.90m/22-7 3/4i and triple jump was 14.04m/46-0 1/2i...Outdoor - Best leaps of season came at WSU-UW Dual Meet (4/28/12, Pullman)...long jumped 6.99m/22-11 1/4...triple jumped 13.95m/45-9 1/4w...best non-winded triple jump was 13.29m/43-7 1/4 at UCLA-Tennessee-WSU Duals (3/31/12, Los Angeles).

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned eight varsity letters at Renton High School...four in football as a wide receiver/cornerback for coach Donald Ponds...four letters as a sprinter/jumper for coach Lance Winnill's track team...helped lead Indians to undefeated season in Seamount League...placed second at state as a team...individually went to state in long jump and 4x400m relay...as a junior went to state in the 4x400m relay and the triple jump...won state in triple jump with a leap of 49-0...member of the Flying AJ's track club under coach Nate Wilford...placed 17th in the triple jump (44-7) at USA Track and Field Junior Olympics.

PERSONAL: Born in March 1993, in Tucson...father Edward works in the Department of Homeland Security...mother Carol works as a bookkeeper...older sister Breann...plans to pursue a degree in sport management or kinesiology at WSU.
