EUGENE -- Washington State decathletes Sean Harris and Michael Bolligar, and heptathlete Shaquana Logan finished out of the scoring Sunday at the 27th Annual Women's and 82nd Annual Men's Pac-12 Conference Track and Field Championships Saturday at Hayward Field in Eugene.
Harris, a junior from Kent, Wash., finished in 11th place after scoring 6,614 points. Bolligar, a junior from Peoria, Ariz., dropped from his third place first day standing after not clearing a bar in the pole vault and finished 16th with 6,230 points. Oregon redshirt freshman Dakota Keys was the decathlon champion with 7,793 points.
Sunday, Harris ran a time of 15.41 seconds in the 110m hurdles, threw the discus 137-feet, 4 inches (41.85m), cleared a season-best pole vault height of 14-1 1/4 (4.30m), threw the javelin 151-4 (46.13m), and ran the 1500m in a time of 5 minutes, 27.74 seconds.
Bolligar ran the 110m hurdles in a wind-aided time of 16.03, threw the discus 117-4 (35.77m), lost valuable points when he did not clear a height in the pole vault, threw the javelin a season-best distance of 154-11 (47.21m), and ran the 1500m in a season-best time of 4:46.74.
In the women's heptathlon, Logan, a junior from Tacoma, scored 4,647 points for 14th place. Logan long jumped 18-8 (5.69m), threw the javelin a lifetime-best distance of 78-3 (23.86m), and ran the 800m in a time of 2:29.41. Oregon senior Brianne Theisen won the heptathlon with 6,353 points.
The Pac-12 Conference Track & Field Championships resume with individual events and relays May 12 and 13, in Eugene.
