Harmon, WSU Atop Leaderboard After Two Rounds at Anteater Invitational

DOVE CANYON, Calif. - Freshman Lindsay Harmon shot a 74 (+3) and an even-par 71 Monday to be tied for first place through the first two rounds at the Anteater Invitational. WSU is in the lead with a 596 (+28).

Sophomore Mallory Kent posted an even-par 71 and a 75 (+4) for a 146 (+4). Kent is tied for third place after 36 holes. Freshman Kristen Rue carded a 152 (+10) to be tied for 19th place, with a 79 (+8) and a 73 (+2) in the first and second rounds.

Senior Kristen Allard shot a 76 (+5) and a 78 (+7) for a 154 (+12) and tied for 23rd. Junior Emma Betland posted a 78 (+7) and an 83 (+12).

"I am really proud of the team today. They showed a lot of character and posted two solid rounds," said Head Coach Kelli Kamimura. "I am excited for tomorrow. We plan on sticking to our game plan and focusing on what we can control."

WSU will conclude the tournament with Tuesday's final round set for an 8:30 a.m. shot gun start.
