Round 1 Results 
LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Washington State freshman Rachel Lewis led the Cougar women's golf team in the first round of the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown on a windy Sunday in Las Vegas. The women's team is tied for 14th place after the first round of 18 holes.
Lewis carded a score of 75 (+3) in the first round to put her at tied for 23rd place overall. Lindsay Harmon and Emma Betland followed Lewis, each shooting 80 (+8) in Sunday's first round. Harmon and Betland were closely followed by the marks of 81 each from Mallory Kent and Kristen Rue.
The WSU women's team is tied for 14th place with regional opponent Idaho, as well as North Texas. The Cougars finished the day 28-over par collectively (316). Wisconsin and Indian are the leading teams after the first day. Both teams are tied at the top of the leaderboard with team scores of 292 (+4).
Tee times for the second round Monday at the Stallion Mountain Golf Club will begin at 7:30 a.m. Live results will once again be available at golfstat.com, and the second round results will be posted online at wsucougars.com following tournament play.
