PULLMAN, Wash.- The Washington State University tennis team lost for the first time this season to # 48 Utah 5-2. The Cougars are now 5-1 on the season.
WSU won the doubles point with wins. Andjela Kankaras and Ksenia Googe at No. 2 beat Evgenia Kryuchkova and Lucia Kovarcikova. Lea Jansen and Elisabeth Fournier won agasint Sarah Pham and Lexi Provancha at No. 3.
Olga Musilovich had the lone singles victory for the Cougars, defeating Provancha 7-5, 6-4.
WSU will be back in action Friday Feb. 4 against #73 BYU in Provo, Utah at 11 a.m. local time.
