Women's Golf Improves after Round Two at SEC/Pac-12 Challenge

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.- The WSU women's golf team is in 22nd place after two rounds with a score of 621 (+45). The Cougars improved by three strokes from Friday, posting a second round score of 309 (+21).

Emma Betland and Mallory Kent led the Cougars, each firing a 3-over 75. Betland improved by one stroke from the first round for a total score of 151 (+7). and Kent improved by five strokes bringing her to a 155 (+11) after 36 holes.

Kristen Allard posted a 78 (+6), improving 13 strokes from Friday to 169 (+25). Kristen Rue posted a 9-over 81, for a total of 160 (+16) after two rounds. Ali Thompson shot 84 (+12) for a total of 161 (+17)
