Senior Ekaterina Burduli took advantage of a walkover in her semifinal match to move into the A flight singles final Sunday afternoon in the USTA NTC Women's Collegiate Invitational at the USTA National Tennis Center.
Burduli, the only Cougar to advance in the main draw following Saturday's first two rounds, began Sunday with a 6-2, 6-1 over Princeton's Ivana King in the quarterfinals. Burduli then benefited from a walkover in the semifinals to move into Monday's final.
