STANFORD, Calif. - Washington State University sophomore Chris Collins is tied for 26th after two rounds of play at the U.S. Intercollegiate, Saturday.
Collins is only one stroke out of the top 25 after posting a two-round total of 146 (+4) at the par-71, 6,786-yard Stanford Golf Course.
The Cougars are in 16th place as a team, firing first and second rounds of 303 and 295, respectively.
Redshirt junior David Fern shot 149 (+7), sophomore Kevin Chen and freshman Jordan Mason each shot 152 (+10), and junior Ryan Witz shot 153 (+11) to round out the scoring for the Cougars.
