Eldon Jenne

Washington State’s first Olympian representative, Eldon Jenne finished seventh in the pole vault at the 1920 Games in Antwerp, Belgium. He won three Pacific Coast Conference pole vault titles (1919-21) and tied for the best mark at the NCAA meet in 1921. Jenne also lettered in football and baseball at Washington State. He went on to have a distinguished career as a teacher, coach and administrator in athletics and recreation program in Oregon.
