COACH POTTER TALKS ABOUT THE CLASS:

"Credit my staff and the people behind the scenes in our department," WSU Head Coach Matt Potter said. "We have all succeeded in putting together another strong recruiting class which will allow us to continue to grow as a program. We have lost what many believe is an influential group, but we have responded by recruiting the personalities that can continue the momentum and direction of our program. We are in a great position to extend our run of postseason appearances.

"This class has great athleticism and had addressed areas of our team that will not only provide us depth and competition at a variety of positions, but will also give us options that cement our team and program as a top 25 team. Each student-athlete has the personality and ability to influence our selection process and as we gel the group together I am delighted in the direction our team is headed.

"However potential is one thing, performing is now down to the commitment, work ethic and desire of this group and, if the efforts of our current group of returnees is anything to go by, we are in great shape for the upcoming fall."
