Signed with USL Super League club, Spokane Zephyr FC, for the second half of the 2024-25 season…made professional debut as a substitute March 15, 2025 against DC Power FC…made first professional start April 3, 2025 in a home win over Brooklyn FC.
COLLEGE SUMMARY
Started 73 of 78 career matches played, appearing in every single match of her college career…scored two goals, both as a senior, and added seven career assists…played over 6,600 minutes and played in one NCAA Tournament, as a freshman, part of a historic WSU defense that allowed just 0.59 goals per game…earned all-conference recognition as a senior.
WASHINGTON STATE CAREER
Senior (2024) – Played all 1,710 minutes of her final season, starting all 19 matches and playing the full 90 minutes every game…named to the All-WCC First Team…scored her first career collegiate goal at Gonzaga (Oct. 19) and added a second in the following game at No. 10 Santa Clara (Oct. 23)…added three assists from the center back position, delivering a pair in the home-opening weekend victories over Montana (Aug. 22) and Idaho Aug. 25)…final career assist came in 1-0 win over San Diego (Sept. 28)…West Coast Conference All-Academic Honorable Mention.
Junior (2023) – Started all 19 matches, playing more minutes than any other Cougar, and going the full 90 in 15 games…delivered three assists from the back line, beginning with the season-opening goal in the win against Eastern Washington, Aug. 17…also found Naomi Clark for her third goal of the year against Weber State, Aug. 27…added an assist in the Cougars win over Colorado, giving Coach Shulenberger the most wins in WSU soccer coaching history.
Sophomore (2022) – Played in all 19 games, starting 18 of them on the right side of the backline…tallied her first career assist in the season opener at No. 9 Michigan, off a throw-in to Margie Detrizio…played 1,627 minutes and registered 12 total shots, putting five on frame…helped WSU backline to five shutouts and limited opponents to 23 goals on the season with a 1.22 goals against average.
Freshman (2021) - Appeared in at 21 games as a true freshman while starting in 17 … made her first career start in her first collegiate contest against Arkansas State, Aug. 19 ... fifth on the team in minutes played at 1,591… had two shot attempts on the season with one on goal… Tappan’s contribution on the defensive end helped the Cougars finish second in the Pac-12 in goals allowed after giving up just 0.59 GAA.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB CAREER
A two-time state champion and two-time all-league selection, was a standout in the defensive third for Liberty High School on the West Side ... as a freshman, she assisted on a pair of goals in the Patriots, 3-0, win in the state championship game as the team went 19-2-1 with 14 shutouts en route to the title ... as a sophomore led the team to a 17-2-2 overall record and a second-straight state championship scoring five goals and recording three assists while leading a defense that recorded 13 shutouts ... as a junior, she would score five goals and assist on three more in 20 games as the Patriots made another run into the state playoffs ... off the field played three seasons of basketball for the Patriots.
