Shalie Dheensaw

Shalie Dheensaw returned home to Washington State during the summer of 2017 to become the Cougars’ video coordinator. 

Dheensaw played at Washington State from 2012-15 and returned to her alma mater to assume video responsibilities, in addition to scout team coordination.

One of the top low-post recruits out of Canada and a member of the Canadian U17 National Team, Dheensaw excelled in the Crimson and Gray before suffering a career-ending knee injury as a senior.  In her career, Dheensaw earned four varsity letters while appearing in 112 games, starting the final 50 games of her career. She finished her WSU career with 535 points and grabbed 307 rebounds. Defensively, she blocked 98 shots, fifth-most in WSU history upon her graduation. Additionally, Dheensaw recorded 69 assists and 47 steals whlie averaging 4.8 ppg and 4.3 rpg. Efficient from the floor, she posted 41.3 career shooting percentage and scored in double figures 14 times including one 20-point effort.

Prior to returning to WSU, Dheensaw spent one season working at Washington as the Huskies Video Coordinator.

Dheensaw graduated with a bachelor’s degree in human development from WSU in 2015. She earned her master’s degree in intercollegiate athletic leadership from Washington in 2017.
