SOPHOMORE (2024): Cross Country- Competed in six meets during his second season at Texas Tech… Finished 12th in his first race of the season at the Lori Fitzgerald Open (8/31/24) with a 5k time of 14 minutes and 59.6 seconds… At the Texas Tech Open (9/13/24), he finished fourth overall with an 8k time 23 minutes and 31.6 seconds… Koech ran his best 8k time of his career at the Arturo Barrios Invitational (10/18/24) with a time of 22 minutes and 38.4 seconds, good enough to finish seventh.
FRESHMAN (2023): Cross Country- Competed in five meets in his first collegiate cross country season… Koech started the season with a 5k time of 15 minutes and 25.1 seconds at the Wyoming Invite… Ran an 8k time of 23 minutes and 21.3 seconds, his college best in the event at the Arturo Barrios Invite…
