WSU CAREER:
JUNIOR (2024): Competed in three meets during his third year as a Coug… At the WSU Alumni Open (8/30/24), Verges finished 11th with a personal best 6k time of 18 minutes and 40.9 seconds… Verges’ best 8k time came at the Cougar Classic (9/13/24) in which he finished 80th with a time of 25 minutes and 37.2 seconds.
SOPHOMORE (2023): Opened the season with a 6K college-best time of 19:25.0 in the WSU Alumni Open (9/1/23)...He finished 15th overall...Finished 41st overall in the Whitman College Invitational (9/30/23) with an 8K time of 26:29.7...Wrapped up the season with an 8K college-best time of 26:07.0 in the LC State Invite (10/14/23)...He finished 79th overall.
FRESHMAN (2022): Finished 24th overall with 6K time of 20:54.4 in his collegiate debut at the WSU XC Invitational (9/1/22).
