Harrison, WSU Both Sit Atop Leaderboards after 36 Holes in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 24, 2025) – Washington State Women's Golf and junior Hannah Harrison both share the lead after 36 holes at the Nashville Invitational at The Hermitage Golf Course, President's Reserve in Tennessee Monday.
 
Harrison recorded four birdies and carded an opening round 69, the second-lowest round among the 91 participants in either round. The Granite Bay, Calif. native followed up with a two-over 74 and finished the opening day tied with Louise Dahl of Cal State Fullerton at one-under.
 
As a team, the Cougars are tied with Iowa at +16 through two rounds after going a tournament-best +5 in the opening round and followed up with a second-round +10, the best round among all 16 teams in the afternoon. Butler sits two strokes back at +18.
 
"We played well today as a team and everyone did a great job hanging in there through difficult conditions," head coach Kevin Tucker said. "Hannah played fantastic today. She's been working hard and it's always fun to see the hard work pay off. I'm excited to see how we handle the test tomorrow."
 
Sophomore Alice Johansson used four birdies to card a second-round 72 and finished the opening day tied for 12th at +4 while freshman Agnes Brink opened the day with an even-par 72 and finished tied for 17th and senior Sarah Skovgaard Bils sits tied for 20th at +7.
 
Teams will play 18 holes with an 8 a.m. (CT) shotgun start Tuesday.
 
The Course and Tournament Format
The Nashville Invitational is held at The Hermitage Golf Course, President's Reserve in Old Hickory, Tenn.
 
The course plays as a par-72 at 6,210 yards.
