FEDERAL WAY, Wash. (March 21, 2025) – Washington State junior Emily Lundgren won her heat in the 100 breast morning prelims on day three of the 2025 NCAA Swimming Championships in Federal Way, Wash. Friday afternoon.

Lundgren is one of three Cougars competing in the NCAA Championships, along with freshman Darcy Revitt and junior Dori Hathazi. Revitt competed in the 50 free Thursday and will compete in the 100 free Saturday while Hathazi will compete in the 200 fly Saturday. Lundgren competed in the 200 IM Thursday and compete in the 200 breast Saturday.

In Friday's morning prelims, Lundgren won her heat in the 100 breast with a 58.83, breaking her own school-record she set in Pullman in January. The junior from Chula Vista, Calif. competed in the evening B final, earning All-American honorable mention, her second straight season earning All-America honors after receiving honorable mention in the 200 breast last season. Lundgren swam a 59.17 in the evening final, finishing No. 16 in the country in the 100 breast.

Lundgren joins Erin Eldridge (1999-2000) and Erin McCleave (2006-07) as the only swimmers to earn multiple All-America honors.
