PULLMAN, Wash. (September 9, 2025) – Washington State Women's Golf closed out play at the season-opening Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational hosted by the University of New Mexico Monday afternoon.
Junior Alice Johansson paced the Cougs tying for 11th at three-over after posting a final-round 74 while sophomore Agnes Brink closed her tournament at nine-over. Senior Hannah Harrison and freshman Kaitlyn Helm each wrapped up WSU's opening week with final rounds of 75. Johansson and Helm each tallied three birdies during Tuesday's final round while Harrison posted an even-par 36 on the back nine.
WSU finished in tenth out of 15 teams, ahead of Fresno State and UNLV, and just behind host New Mexico.
The Course and Tournament Format
The tournament was held at the UNM Championship Course in Albuquerque, N.M.
The course played as a par-72 at 6,354 yards.
Teams played 36 holes Monday and 18 holes Tuesday.
