AUSTIN, Texas (July 16, 2024) – Washington State Rowing fifth year senior Eliza Dawson was named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-American on Tuesday.
Dawson was an impactful member of the WSU 1V8 boat all season, and ended the year at the Pac-12 Championships where the eight placed fifth in 6:46.36. Earlier in the season, she helped the Cougar 1V8 win their event at the 2024 Wheeler Invitational in 6:53.35 over then-No. 16 ranked Duke.
Dawson adds Academic All-District honors to her list of achievements this year after being named CRCA All-American on June 7, a CRCA Scholar-Athlete on June 6, and garnering 2024 Pac-12 All-Conference Team honors on May 24.
