PULLMAN, Wash. - No. 21 Washington State beat No. 14 Oregon State 38-35 at Gesa Field Saturday evening. Check out the postgame notes from the win.

•      WSU recorded its second Gesa Field sellout (33,111) of the season (Wisconsin), fourth in the last two seasons (2022, Washington, Oregon)
•      WSU improved to 4-0 for the first time since 2017
•      WSU beat a Top-15 ranked team for the first time since 2018 (W, 34-20, No. 12 Oregon in Pullman)
•      WSU has won its last five meetings against Oregon State at Gesa Field
•      WSU had two players with 150+ receiving yards, Kyle Williams (174) and Josh Kelly (159), for the first time since 2014 (California, Vince Mayle – 263, River Cracraft – 172)
•      WSU's 528 yards of total offense was the most in a Pac-12 Conference game since 2019 (Oregon State, 641)
 
PLAYER NOTES
•      Cameron Ward scored his third rushing touchdown of the season, eighth as a Coug, 11th of his career
•      Ward threw for 404 yards and four touchdowns, his second game this season with 400+yards and 3+TD (at Colorado State)
•      Ward also rushed for a touchdown, his eighth career game as a Coug with one rushing TD and one passing TD
•      Ward completed 28-of-34 passes for an 82.3 completion pct, the seventh-best completion % in WSU single-game history
•      Kyle Williams caught a TD pass for the fourth-straight game, caught seven passes for career-high 174 yards, his first 100-yard game as Coug and sixth of his career
•      Josh Kelly matched a career-high with eight catches for a career-high 159 yards and three touchdowns, his first 100-yard game as a Coug, fourth of his career
•      Kelly is the first Cougar with three touchdown catches since Easop Winston Jr. caught four touchdowns in 2019 (UCLA)
•      Jaylen Jenkins started at running back, his second career start (Utah, 2022)
•      Sam Lockett III picked off his first pass of the season, fourth of his career, finished with five tackles
•      Nusi Malani recorded his first sack of the year, third of his career, made career-high five tackles and batted down a pass
•      Cam Lampkin made a career-high seven tackles, broke up two passes and recorded a tackle-for-loss
•      David Gusta matched a career-high with four tackles
•      Chau Smith-Wade matched a career-high with seven tackles including one for loss
•      Dean Janikowski's 44-yard field goal was his 28th career make, tenth-most in WSU history
