PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State women's soccer team will host one spring camp and four summer camps with registration for each camp now open. The Cougars' camps will be instructed by Washington State soccer coaches and players.
The Cougs will host a Spring ID camp Saturday, March 11, running from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. at WSU and available to girls in 9th-12th grade.
Washington State will host four camps in the summer, including a pair of day camps and two elite camps. The first summer day camp runs from June 19-22 and the second day camp returns July 18-21. Both camps are open to boys and girls with half and full day options. Washington State soccer day camps are designed to teach the basics of soccer to all the future Cougs in attendance.
The team will also host a junior and senior elite camp. The junior elite camp, open to girls and boys in 4th through 8th grade, begins at 1 p.m., Monday, July 10 and concludes Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. The senior elite camp is available to girls and boys entering grades 8 through 12 and takes place Saturday, July 15, 1-9 p.m. and Sunday, July 16 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Elite camps are designed to develop tactical ideas and technical skills that are essential to making players successful at the next level. The experienced coaching staff will run a typical collegiate training session, which will be held for both field players and goalkeepers.
