In addition, Sekulic earned the Cougar Pride Academic salute, awarded to one male and one female Cougar senior who has maintained over a 3.00 cumulative GPA and has displayed exceptional academic, athletic and outstanding personal qualities. On the course, he was named All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention after playing in all 10 tournaments for the Cougars while setting the school record for the lowest scoring average in a season at 71.29. On the year he would go win one tournament as he set the school record at 16-under en route to the Visit Stockton Invitational title.
