PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University Senior Associate Athletic Director and Chief Operating Officer
Bryan Blair has been selected to the National Sports Forum Steering Committee, the association announced Monday.
"The National Sports Forum brings together the best and brightest minds in the sports business. From NFL front office personnel to key sponsorship executives, the Forum's steering committee includes an impressive roster of talent. It's an honor for WSU Athletics to now have a seat at the table," said Blair. "Thank you to our Director of Athletics,
Pat Chun, for supporting my continued professional growth. I look forward to proudly representing the best logo in sports on this national stage."
The National Sports Forum is one of the largest annual sports business conferences in North America, gathering league, team, and property executives from a wide range of professional sports organizations as well as the NCAA. The conferences bring together sports business professionals to discuss the latest trends, ideas and innovations throughout the industry.
The foundation of the National Sports Forum is built on four pillars:
- Sponsorship Sales & Partner Activation
- Marketing & Fan Engagement
- Ticket Sales & Service
- Business Development
The National Sports Forum is overseen by a diverse Steering Committee of team, league, and industry leaders. In an effort to share best practices, the steering committee meets each year to network, share ideas and learn from the industry's top spokespeople, through breakout sessions, panel discussions, networking events and keynote speeches.
This is the second national committee for Blair this year, having been named to the Minority Opportunities Athletic Association (MOAA) Board of Directors for 2020-21 in February.
