SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Washington State University men's basketball sophomore CJ Elleby has been named First Team All-Pac-12 and senior Jervae Robison took home Honorable Mention All-Defensive Team honors as announced by Commissioner Larry Scott Monday.

In his second season as a Coug, Elleby, a Seattle native, earned first team honors after finishing the regular season as the conference's fourth-leading scorer at 18.0 ppg. Scoring 559 points in the regular season, Elleby's sophomore season ranks tied for 10th all-time in WSU scoring history and third among sophomore scoring campaigns. In addition to his scoring, Elleby finished seventh in rebounds (7.8 rpg) and second in steals (1.71 spg). He was twice named Pac-12 Player of the Week after leading the Cougs to wins over No. 8 Oregon and Oregon State and again after scoring a career-high 34 points in WSU's first win over Washington. Throughout the season the second year star scored in double-figures in 27 of 31 games while eclipsing 20 points in 17 contests, and 30 points once. He became the third fastest player in program history to reach 1,000 career points as he became the 38th Coug all-time to reach scoring plateau. Elleby was named to the All-Freshman team last season.

Elleby's award marks the 26th time a Cougar has been named to the Pac-8/10/12 First Team.

In his final season at WSU, Robinson proved himself one of the best defensive players in the Pac-12 as the Aurora, Colo. native was tasked with defending some of the top scoring guards in the nation throughout the season. With a focus on defense, the Cougs finished the year holding their opponents to four points under the national average (102.4) in points per 100 possessions at 98.4 pp100. With Robinson at the point, the Cougs turned their opponents over 21.1% of possessions ranking 50th in the nation while forcing 15.1 turnovers per game ranking 53rd nationally. On his own, Robinson finished the regular season with 26 steals while grabbing 3.1 rebounds per game from his guard position.

The Cougars continue their season as they enter the 2020 Pac-12 Tournament as the No. 11 seed and take on No. 6 Colorado, Wednesday, March 11 at 8:30 p.m. at Las Vegas's T-Mobile Arena.
