LAST TIME OUT
The Cougars ended their Pac-12 road trip through the Arizona desert with a 72-57 loss at No. 12 Arizona. The Wildcats forced WSU in five early turnovers to build a 10-point lead halfway through the first quarter. That early stretch proved to be the difference, as WSU was only outscored by two points over the final three quarters of play against the No. 12-ranked team in the country.
Redshirt senior Borislava Hristova collected a team-high 18 points in the loss, while redshirt junior Jovana Subasic posted 11 points in her third career start.
ANOTHER RECORD OF BOBI
Redshirt senior Borislava Hristova will once again make Washington State women's basketball history on Friday, as the player known as Bobi Buckets will break the WSU women's basketball record for most career starts on Friday with the 120th start of her career.
Hristova is currently tied with Carly Noles (2010-13) for the most starts by a Washington State women's basketball player with 119 career starts.
MOLINA LOOKING FOR A REPEAT
Senior Chanelle Molina will be seeking another career performance against the Bruins this Friday. Back on Jan. 6, 2017 a then-freshman Molina scored a career-high 33 points to help the Cougs collect an 82-73 upset over No. 9/7-ranked UCLA.
HRISTOVA'S MOVING UP
Redshirt senior Borislava Hristova recently moved into 14th on the Pac-12 women's basketball all-time scoring list with 2,184 career points. The Washington State all-time leading scorer is 32 points away from moving into 13th place on the all-time Pac-12 scoring list, which is currently held by Stanford's Katie Starbird (1994-97) at 2,215 points.
LITTLE MOLINA COMING UP BIG
Sophomore Cherilyn Molina, who is the youngest of WSU's three Molina sisters, is coming off a career-high nine-point performance at No. 12 Arizona. The sophomore also matched her career-best in assists against the Wildcats, dishing out four helpers in Tucson.
MAKING HER STARTS COUNT
