BOISE, Idaho – Lauren Burckel captured her fifth victory of the season but it was not enough as Washington State fell to Boise State, 192-60, in its final regular season dual meet of the season Saturday at the West Family YMCA and Boise City Aquatic Center.
Burckel captured the 200 Breast and also finished second in the 200 IM. Mackenzie Duarte came in second right behind Burckel in the 200 Breast.
Taylor McCoy and Chloe Larson both had second place finishes in their respected events. McCoy in the 1000 free and Larson in the 50 free.
 "Taylor McCoy had a great swim in the 1000 free, her time is right in there as the second fastest swim of the season in a dual meet" said Head Coach Matt Leach "We are ready to get back to Pullman to rest and continue to work on the little things."
The Cougars travel to Federal Way, Wash. later this month to compete in the Pac-12 Championships, Feb. 26-29 then have Pac-12 Last Chance March 1.
