CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Adding another academic award to their haul for the 2018-19 season, the trio of Madison Odiorne, Elodie Bridenne, and Amy Chu nabbed Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar honors, the organization announced Monday, July 8.

A total of 1,097 women's collegiate golfers were recognized with this prestigious honor. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.

In her final year at WSU, Ordiorne was recognized for the fourth-straight season by the WGCA for her work in the classroom. A May graduate, Ordiorne finished her collegiate career with a 3.55 GPA in sport science. The All-American Scholar award came on top of an Academic All-Pac-12 award earned early in the year.

After earning First Team Academic All-Pac-12 honors in May, Bridenne earned her third-straight WGCA honor having been named to the all-scholar team in each of her three seasons at WSU. The third-year Coug finished the year with a 3.80 GPA in international business and finance to lead the team academically. Joining the two upperclassmen, Chu grabbed her first academic honor with the WGCA award after finishing her freshman year with a 3.64 GPA.
