GAME INFORMATION - VS ARIZONA STATEÂ Â Â Â
The Sun Devils enter the week one of five Pac-12 teams ranked in the top-25 checking in at #20/18. Arizona State has won three of their last five including picking up wins over USC and Arizona in their last two contests. The Sun Devils have won the last seven against the Cougars including a nailbitter, 61-58, last season at Beasley Coliseum. Thursday's game marks the lone contest between the two teams in 2018-19. ASU has been productive on the year by not making mistakes, entering the game 12th in the nation in fewest turnovers per game (12.4) and are #1 in the Pac-12 in scoring defense holding teams to just 57.7 ppg on the year.
LAST TIME OUT
A blazing start and strong shooting was not enough for Washington State (7-15, 2-9) to overcome some key mistakes late as USC (13-8, 3-7) rallied to defeat the Cougars, 81-73, Sunday afternoon at the Galen Center. Up one at halftime, the Cougars would push their lead to as much as eight midway through the third but saw the Trojans rally, closing the quarter on a 17-4 run that gave USC the lead for good heading into the final quarter. While the Cougars would close the gap to just four late in the game, the Trojans would finish out the contest at the line to end any hopes of a comeback by WSU.
IRON WOMEN OF WSU
Playing with a short bench, the Cougs have relied on
Chanelle Molina,
Borislava Hristova, and

Borislava, averaging 35.8 mpg (ranked 54th in the nation) is on pace for 1079 min, the second-most in program history.
Swedlund, one of just three players in program history to eclipse 1000 min already in her career, is on pace for 1017 min. making her the first Cougar to ever play multiple 1000 min seasons.
