GAME INFORMATION - VS NEBRASKA
The Cougs open the Cayman Island Classic against Nebraska Monday in Georgetown, Grand Cayman. The Huskers are the only known opponent in the three-day, bracketed event, with day two featuring either George Mason or Old Dominion. Against the Huskers, the Cougs are 2-6 all-time with Nebraska winning the last three meetings. However, the two teams have not met in this millennium with the last contest coming in 1998. Nebraska heads to the tournament 2-2 on the year having won two-straight against South Dakota State (90-73) and Southern (93-86 OT). Four Huskers enter the week scoring in double-figures led by Cam Mack's 16.0 ppg, a 6-2 sophomore transfer from Salt Lake Community College.

LAST TIME OUT
Omaha 85 - Washington State 77 | Nov. 21, 2019 | Beasley Coliseum

The Cougs suffered a tough loss at home against Omaha as the Mavericks came back from a 13-point halftime deficit to beat WSU. CJ Elleby led all scorers with 27 points, tying a career high, as he scored a career-best 18 in the first half. As hot as the Cougs were in the first half shooting to build their lead they were equally cold in the second half. While WSU struggled, UNO caught fire shooting over 53% from the floor and 54% from behind the arc in the half to mount the comeback.

THE TURNOVER GAME
Entering the week the Cougs remain the best in the nation at taking care of the ball with just 29 turnovers in four games and 7.3 per game the fewest in all of Division I basketball.
On the other end the Cougs have forced 15.8 turnovers per game thanks to 8.0 steals per contest.
Individually, CJ Elleby leads the way defensively as the sophomore has nabbed 11 steals, 2.75 per game which ranks 4th among Pac-12 players and 24th nationally. Jaylen Shead (2.33 spg) ranks in the top-10 in the Pac-12.

ELLEBY ELECTRIC
Entering the year on every ones watch list, sophomore CJ Elleby did not disappoint in his season debut as the star forward was dominant with a career-high 27-point performance in just 30 minutes against Seattle U. Making the most of his opportunities, Elleby needed just 18 shots to do his damage, finishing the game 12-of-18 from the floor and 3-of-8 from deep. In addition, Elleby came up with seven rebounds and a team-best three steal defensively.
On the year, Elleby has scored in double-figures in all 4 games while eclipsing 20 points in three games, twice hitting his career-best of 27. Elleby is 2nd in the Pac-12 in scoring and 19th nationally at 21.8 ppg.
