GAME INFORMATION - VS IDAHO STATE
The Cougs take on the Bengals for the 11th time in program history. All-time, WSU holds a 9-1 record including winning the last seven matchups the last three coming inside Beasley. The two teams did not play last season, meeting last in 2017 in a game WSU won 83-62. Only three players, all Bengals, played in the 2017 contest with now senior Balint Mocsan leading ISU with 21 points. Mocsan, however, has yet to play this season. The Bengals are led by Tarik Cool (19.7 ppg) and Chier Maker (14.7 ppg). ISU has won its last two contests, beating Air Force (89-79) and Montana-Western (80-48), after losing their opener at Wyoming (54-40).

LAST TIME OUT
SANTA CLARA 70 - WASHINGTON STATE 62 | Nov. 12, 2019 | LEAVEY CENTER

The Cougs hit the road for the first time in 2019 and suffered their first defeat of the season, 70-62, at the hands of Santa Clara. A tough shooting second half doomed the Cougs as WSU was just 10-of-36 from the floor and 1-of-13 from deep. SCU used a 15-4 run over a 10 min span to build a lead the Cougs could not come back from despite a late charge out of Isaac Bonton. Bonton scored a team-best 19 points while scoring 11 in the second half to try to get the Cougs back into the game late.

THE TURNOVER GAME
Entering the week the Cougs remain one of the best at taking care of the ball with just 17 turnovers in two games and 8.5 per game the fewest in the Pac-12 and ranking 14th and 11th nationally, respectively.
On the other end the Cougs have forced 16.5 turnovers per game thanks to 11.0 steals per contest, second best in the Pac-12 and 29th nationally.
