COUGARS HEAD TO NCAA WEST REGIONALS
>> The Washington State men's cross country team, and the women's cross country team will compete in their seventh race of the year, as the Cougars depart to run at the 2018 NCAA West Regionals in Sacramento, California. The WSU Men and Women will each feature a full squad of runners who qualified for the meet.

>> The Haggin Oaks Golf Complex is the site for the 2018 NCAA West Regionals this season, hosted by Sacramento State, and the Sacramento Sports Commission.
COUGARS IN THE RANKINGS
>>The Cougars men's cross country program checks in at No. 22 overall in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) week six poll, while placing in the number six spot in the west regional rankings. The Cougs move up seven total spots in the national rankings, and are up two in the west region after a solid showing at the Pac-12 Championships.

>> The Cougar women's cross country program enter the week ranked 13th overall in the latest west region in the week six USTFCCCA poll. The Cougars improved two spots from week five, after a strong overall team finish at the Pac-12 Championships in Stanford, California.

LAST TIME OUT
>> The WSU Women's program placed eighth overall in the 6k race at the Pac-12 Championships. The top runner for the Cougars was
Vallery Korir who finished 39th overall with a time of 21:06.4 in the meet. Following Korir was
Zorana Grujic who recorded a time of 21:18.3 for a finish of 47th overall.
Emma Jenkins followed with a time of 21:26.0 to finish 54th overall.

>> The Cougar Men's squad finished fifth overall in the 8k race at the Pac-12 Championships. Leading the way for the Cougars once again was senior
Chandler Teigen finishing 7th overall with a time of 23:12.1 to record his second straight top-10 finish at the Pac-12 Championships.
Nathan Wadhwani followed his fellow teammate with a finish of 21st overall at 23:33.4.
Amir Ado notched a top-30 finish as well with a time of 23:47.0 to finish 28th overall.

COUGARS TO HOST 2019 NCAA WEST REGION XC CHAMPIONSHIPS
>> Washington State will host the 2019 NCAA Cross Country West Regional Friday, Nov. 15, at the Colfax Golf Club at Colfax, Wash...this will mark the first time WSU will host an NCAA Cross Country Regional Championship...Cougars hosted the 2015 Pac-12 Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships at the Colfax Golf Club and practice on the course several times a week.
