SAN FRANCISCO – Washington State men's basketball fifth-year head coach Ernie Kent, as well as seniors Viont'e Daniels and Robert Franks, Jr., will take part in Pac-12 Media Day, Thursday, Oct. 11 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., held at the Pac-12 and Pac-12 Network Offices at San Francisco.
Family, friends and fans can follow all of the action on TV, online and via social media. On social media, Pac-12 Media Day can be followed using the hashtag #Pac12Hoops. In addition, @WSUMensHoops, @Pac12 and @Pac12Network will have updates on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook throughout the day.
"Inside Pac-12 Basketball: Men's Media Day" television coverage on the Pac-12 Network will air from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m., with Kent, Daniels and Franks, the 2018 Pac-12 Most Improved Player of the Year, going live at 1:50 p.m. The entire three-and-a-half hour show will run from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on Pac-12 Network, Pac-12.com and the Pac-12 Now app. ESPNU will also be live from Pac-12 Media Day with a one-hour show dedicated to Pac-12 Men's Basketball from 3-4 p.m.
Each team will take the main stage to answer questions from the media in attendance. There will be a media podium live stream on Twitter at @pac12, the Pac-12 Conference Facebook page, Pac-12.com and the Pac-12 Now app. The Cougars will take the podium at 10:30 a.m.
Along with media day will come the preseason media poll, which will rank the teams from first-to-12th, as voted on by the media. The Cougars return three starters in Daniels, Franks and junior Carter Skaggs, while welcoming seven newcomers, including five junior college transfers and two freshmen.
