PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State used a fourth-quarter comeback to beat Utah 28-24 at Martin Stadium Saturday. Below are postgame notes and top social media posts.
 
GAME NOTES
•       Utah won the toss and deferred, WSU elected to receive
•       Kyle Sweet and Peyton Pelluer were game captains for the 5th straight game
•       Attendance: 30,088
 
TEAM NOTES
•       WSU has won 10 straight home games for the first time since 1928-33 (school-record 19 game-winning streak), 10 straight is the 3rd-longest in program history
•       WSU recorded its first 4th-quarter comeback since beating Stanford 24-17 last season after trailing 21-17 in the 4th quarter
•       WSU recorded its 12th 4th-quarter comeback under Mike Leach
 
PLAYER NOTES
•       Will Rodgers III started at defensive tackle, making his 1st career start
•       Peyton Pelluer played his 46th career game, Gabe Marks (WR) and Daniel Ekuale (DL) hold WSU record with 51 games played
•       Pelluer made a game-high 13 tackles, his 2nd straight double-digit tackle game and 10th of his career
•       Gardner Minshew II threw for 445 yards, his 5th straight 300-yard game
•       Minshew II rushed for his 2nd TD of the season
