SERIES HISTORY
The Cougs hit the road for the final time in the regular season as WSU heads to Southern California to take on USC and UCLA. WSU came up with a sweep of the LA schools in January for the first time since the 1994-95 season. Up first for the Cougs is a tilt at USC, who WSU dominated in a 74-57 win in Pullman back on Jan. 8. All-time, the Trojans hold a 45-18 record against the Cougs but WSU has won six of the last 10 and five of the last eight.
LAST TIME OUT
Despite a double digit lead early, the Washington State women's basketball team could not hold off Arizona in the second half as the Wildcats took a 70-62 win in Beasley Sunday afternoon. Even in the loss the Cougars witnessed a school record fall as redshirt-sophomore
Nike McClure became the first player in WSU program history to block seven shots in a single contest. The Tenino native's seven blocks in the game moved her season total to 40, a mark which ranks seventh all-time in single-season history. She needs 10 blocks in the final four regular season games and the Pac-12 tournament to become just the third Coug in school history to record 50 rejections in a single season. For the Wildcats, a slow start turned hot over the final three quarters as Arizona finished shooting 45.3% from the field including hitting at a 50.0% clip in the games final two quarters. Jones ended the game with a double-double as she tallied 22 points and 15 rebounds before fouling out with :19 seconds to play in the game.
ABOUT THE TROJANS
The Trojans are coming off of a split against the Oregon schools that included a massive 70-50 upset of  No. 9 Oregon State on the road on Friday. The win kept the Trojans one game back of the Cougs in the standings as the middle of the pack in the Pac-12 has yet to shake out to determine the seeding for the upcoming Pac-12 Tournament in Seattle. Overall, the Trojans have four players averaging double-figures led by Kristen Simon at 14.7 ppg. Simon also leads the team in rebounding at 8.8 rpg. Last time against the Cougars the big junior came up with 25 points and nine rebounds but was the lone Trojan to reach double-figures. As a team, USC is shooting .427 from the floor while averaging 67.6 ppg.
