The Apple Cup ended in a stalemate between the Cougs and the Huskies.

SEATTLE - On a frigid night in Seattle, 110 minutes proved to not be enough to decide a winner in the 2017 Apple Cup as the Cougs (9-7-3, 4-6-1) battled to a 0-0, double-overtime, draw with Washington (9-8-3, 2-6-3) Saturday night. Playing dead even throughout the night, the two teams battled to a standstill as neither side ceded an inch of ground. Early on, the Cougs arguably had the best scoring chance of the night when a pair of close up headers off a corner missed their mark as Maegan O'Neill's attempt was blocked before Grace Hancock's attempt sailed just high. In overtime, WSU saw its best chance come up empty when Elyse Bennet was dragged down from behind after beating her defender only to have the play continue and the dangerous situation vanish.

- WSU produced it's 10th shutout of the season. The shutout moved Ella Dederick into sole possession of second place on the Cougs' single-season shutout list. She now has 17 total in her career.
- The draw extended the Cougs unbeaten streak in the Apple Cup to 14 matches as their all-time series record against Washington improved to 13-7-7.
- The two teams played even on the night with each side recording nine shots. Morgan Weaver led the way for the Cougs with four attempts.
- The Cougs must wait until Monday's selection show to find out their postseason fate. The 2017 NCAA Selection show is scheduled for 1:30 pm PT.
