COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Swimming stars from the Pac-12 Conference, including Washington State's own Jasmine Margetts, will compete against members of the USA Swimming National Team in the second edition of the USA College Challenge.
The dual meet is scheduled for Oct. 21-22 at University of Southern California's Uytengsu Aquatics Center in Los Angeles, Calif. The meet will start at 6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 21 and conclude Sunday, Oct. 22 at 11 a.m.
Margetts, a junior for the Cougars, has had an impressive career for WSU. This season, the Torrance, Calif. native leads the Cougars with five individual wins in the two dual meet wins over Cal Poly and UC Santa Barbara last week. In the win over Cal Poly, Margetts notched three individual wins (200 fly, 200 free, 400 IM) before claiming the 1000 free and 200 fly in the win over UCSB.

Margetts has led the team in individual wins during her first two seasons with the Cougars, notching 14 in her rookie season and eight in her sophomore season. She owns WSU Top-10 times in seven different events, including Top-3 times in the 200 fly, 200 IM, 400 IM, and 200 back. Margetts was also a member of 800 Free Relay team that broke the school record at the Pac-12 Championships last season.
The Pac-12 Network will provide broadcast coverage of the USA College Challenge. Specific broadcaster and channel information for Saturday, Oct. 21 will be announced at a later date; while Sunday, Oct. 22 will air nationally on Pac-12 Network. Both days will be available to stream live for Pac-12 Network subscribers via the Pac-12 Now app and Pac-12.com.
The Cougars host the University of Arizona, Saturday, Oct. 21 at 10 a.m. in Gibb Pool.
