2017-18 Crimson Girls Announced

The Washington State dance team, the Crimson Girls, has named its squad for the coming year.

PULLMAN, Wash. - After two days of tryouts, the 2017-18 Washington State dance team, the Crimson Girls, have been named, it was announced Saturday.

Over 50 women from five difference states tried out during both Friday and Saturday, April 14-15. Those chosen were evaluated on several skills, including floor technique, sideline pom technique, hip hop routine, jazz routine and an interview.

"This was by far the most talented audition that we have had in a long time here at WSU," Crimson Girls coach Kaila Evenoff said. "We have a well-rounded team with excellent technique and skill in all phases of jazz, pom, and hip-hop!" 

The first performance for this team will be Saturday, June 24 at Hoopfest in Spokane, on tCenter Court.
