Get to know the Cougars' incoming freshmen before they put on the Crimson and Gray next season. This week's future Coug gives it her all for her teammates every time she hits the pitch. We get to know a little more about Marin Auth from Medina, Ohio.
What do you love about soccer?
I love having sisters around me that would do anything for me. I love to play the game, and I love fighting for my teammates. I love the feeling of making a great play, or recovering from a bad one. I love being a part of a team.
What made you want to be a Coug?
When I walked on to campus for the first time, the energy was amazing. The culture of Washington State is what convinced me that this is the school for me. I love walking around and having random people yelling, "Go Cougs!" to me. It is just a great atmosphere.
What do you hope to get out of your time at Washington State?
I hope to have a fun, exciting college experience. I am considering pre-veterinary medicine and would love to graduate from one of the best vet schools in the country. But mostly, I want to make lifelong friendships, and have fun and new experiences.

Who inspired you athletically to pursue your collegiate dreams?
My parents have been with me every step of the way and I wouldn't be there without them.
