The Cougs close out the regular season at home with two games against Utah and Colorado at Beasley Coliseum. The weekend kicks off against Utah Thursday night as the two teams meet in front of televised audience on the PAC-12 Network. Last time against the Utes, the Cougs pulled off the victory in Salt Lake City, 61-55, two weeks ago, holding off a late charge by Utah. WSU remains ahead of Utah in the standings as the teams compete for seeding in the upcoming Pac-12 tournament.

Closing out the road slate of their 2016-17 season, the Washington State women's basketball team struggled to get its offense clicking against No. 18/16 UCLA Sunday afternoon, falling to the Bruins at Pauley Pavilion. Overall, the Cougs never truly could find a rhythm on the offensive side of the ball, finishing the game shooting just 29.9 % (20-of-67) from the floor. At the line, the Cougs shot a season-low 23.5% as WSU hit just four of their 17 freebies. Caila Hailey led the way with 10 points. In total, four different Bruins hit double-figures in the game with Kennedy Burke scoring a game-high 17 to go with three assists and four blocks. Monique Billings came up with a double-double as the Bruin standout scored 12 points while tying a UCLA single-game record with 25 rebounds. Nicole Kornet, in her final regular season game in Pauley Pavilion, matched Billings with 12 points while fellow senior Kari Kover chipped in 10. As a team, the Bruins would shoot just .388 (26-for-67) from the floor while making 10-of-18 from the line.
ABOUT THE UTES
The Utes have struggled mightily in Pac-12 play going just 4-12 after posting a perfect 11-0 non-conference record. Having lost their last three contests and five of the last six, the Utes enter the weekend tied for 11th place in the league alongside of Arizona which faces off against USC and UCLA this week in Tucson. Emily Potter continues to pace the Ute attack at 14.0 ppg while averaging 8.4 rpg and a Pac-12-best 3.03 blocks per game. As a team, the Utes shot at a .393 clip while averaging 64.1 ppg which puts them 11th in scoring in the Pac-12.
