CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Three Washington State women's golfers were named 2015-16 Women's Collegiate Golf (WCG) All-American Scholars, the organization announced Wednesday.
Senior Nani Yanagi, sophomore Alivia Brown and freshman Madison Odiorne each picked up the honor, which went to a total of 828 women's collegiate golfers. Student-athletes much have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 to qualify.
Yanagi (Hilo, Hawaii) earned Pac-12 All-Academic first team honors in May, while Brown (Gig Harbor, Wash.) was an honorable mention. Odiorne (Bend, Ore.) was not eligible for Pac-12 All-Academic honors as a freshman. Both Yanagi and Brown picked up WCG All-American Scholar honors last season as well.
