TEMPE, Ariz. – The Washington State women's golf team is in 12th after the second round of competition at the PING/ASU Invitational, Saturday, at the ASU Karsten Golf Course.
WSU (+23, 599) shot 10-over par (298) in the second round and continues to lead Denver and Hawaii. No. 3 UCLA leads the field at 8-under par (568). No. 11 Arizona State (-7, 569) and No. 1 Alabama (-2, 574) are in second and third, respectively.
Sophomore Alivia Brown and senior Nani Yanagi are tied for 45th (+7, 151). The duo is 16 strokes behind co-leaders Lilia Vu and Bronte Law of UCLA (-9, 135).
Senior Monica Huang is tied for 51st (+8, 152), one stroke ahead of junior teammate Cherokee Kim. Kim is tied for 56th (+9, 153).
Sophomore Bree Wanderscheid is tied for 64th (+12, 156) after recording a team-best score of 73 (+1) in the second round. Freshman Madison Odiorne is tied for 67th (+13, 157).
