“We had a solid day that featured some outstanding performances,” Director of Cross Country/Track & Field Wayne Phipps said. “I was very impressed by our women's 400m runners and triple jumpers. Dom Keel had an awesome 200m-400m double and has been outstanding all year from the 60m up to the 400m. John Whelan is continuing his success from cross country and despite still being in a very high volume block of training ran a great 3k. Paul Ryan and Reid Muller competed very well in a very tactical 800 and I'm excited to see what they can do once they get into a fast race.”
The Washington State track and field teams will compete next weekend at the Cougar Indoor collegiate meet, Feb. 5-6, at the Indoor Facility in Pullman.
