Washington State University and University of Idaho student-athletes are teaming up to make the holiday season one to remember for children living in the Pullman-Moscow area.
The Washington State University Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is partnering with the University of Idaho Student Athlete Advisory Committee to sponsor "Christmas for Kids."
"Christmas for Kids is an opportunity for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committees' of the Palouse to give back to a community that gives us so much," said WSU SAAC Vice-President Kelsie Taylor, a senior track and field student-athlete.

SAAC representatives will be present with donation jugs adjacent to the marketing table at all Cougar home basketball and volleyball events during the month of November. In addition, SAAC representatives will be collecting donations around Martin Stadium at the Nov. 7 Arizona State and Nov. 21 Colorado football games.
Student-athletes from both universities will receive Christmas lists from families in need within the Pullman-Moscow area. All donations will be directed to purchasing gifts from the lists. Student-athletes will then hand-deliver gifts directly to the families.
"Our goal is to raise as much money as possible in the month of November into December to make the holiday season extra special for as many families as we can," said Taylor.
Cougars who will not be at Cougar Athletic events but would still like to donate may send a check (please no cash) made out to WSU SAAC by Dec. 5 to the following address:
