PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State University men's basketball team held an open practice for all Cougar fans in the Tri-Cities area, Saturday, Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. to noon at Pasco's Chiawana High School. The practice attracted around 300 fans.

The team entered and started warming up, as fans had already arrived early. Following warm-ups, the team performed drills as head coach Ernie Kent would periodically address the fans to talk about the team and things such as rule changes for this season. Cougar fans were able to enjoy some pizza and drinks and prizes were given away. The team competed against each other for 20 minutes at the end of practice. Following practice, the team signed autographs and met the fans in attendance, but not before singing the fight Washington State fight song.
