PULLMAN, Wash. -- The Washington State volleyball team held a meet and greet evening for the Cougar volleyball season ticket holders Wed., Aug. 19, in Bohler Gym.

Fifth-year Head Coach Jen Greeny opened the night's festivities with each class of players introducing themselves. The 15-member team then warmed up which gave the season ticket holders a view of the newcomers. But then the tables were turned and the players broke into small groups and the season ticket holders came down on the court to participate in a skills clinic. There was a lot of laughter as the loyal fans tried to emulate the moves the student-athletes perform so flawlessly.

After the clinic, Greeny along with assistant coaches Shannon Hunt and Burdette Greeny, coordinator of operations Katie Hinrichs, and new volunteer coach James Dorr, were available to answer questions about volleyball and the season in general. Refreshments were served and the players and season ticket holders spent a little more time getting acquainted.

As a special treat for the volleyball season ticket holders, there was an opportunity for them to personalize their season tickets by having their photos take and printed on the tickets this year. Several took advantage of having the players available and included the Cougars in their photos.
